PRIVACY POLICY

CHAPTER I

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. This Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy of Katinos Dajini (as defined below) (hereinafter referred to as Privacy Policy) establishes the main principles, procedures, technical and organizational measures for the processing of personal data of the Katinos Dienėla client, employee, Candidate for Katinos Dienėla employees, student, pupil and his/her parents or other legal guardians or caretakers, Katinos Dienėla school and kindergarten website address catdays.lt visitor privacy and personal data security.
  2. The Privacy Policy is intended for natural and legal persons who use the services of Katinos Dienėles or provide services to Katinos Dienėles or in cases where Katinos Dienėles is an employer.
  3. Personal data of Katino Dieneė is collected and processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), as well as the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Legal Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as the ADTAĮ), the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as EMU) and other legal acts of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania regulating the processing and protection of personal data, as well as the internal legal acts of Katinos dienėla.
  4. Data subjects, as defined below, by using the services provided by Katinos Dieneles, continuing to browse the Katinos Dieneles website or by providing their Personal Data to the Katinos Dieneles administration, sending their CV, filling out the contact form on the Katinos Dieneles website, confirm that they are familiar with this Privacy Policy, have understood its provisions and agree to comply with it. The Privacy Policy can be accessed at any time on the Katinos Dieneles website catdays.lt in the "Privacy Policy" section.
  5. The terms of this Privacy Policy apply each time the Data Subject visits the Cat Day address in Vilnius: Laisvės pr. 85A, Laivės pr. 58A, Karių kapų g. 20 (from August 2025 – Mildos g. 4, 6, 8), Lobio g. 4, J. Juzeliūno g. 16 or the Cat Day website. catdays.lt , regardless of the device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) used.
  6. Katino Dienėles may periodically update or change this Privacy Policy by posting a new version of the Privacy Policy on the Katino Dienėles Website at catdays.lt in the "Privacy Policy" section„

CHAPTER II

CONCEPTS

  1. The terms used in the Privacy Policy correspond to the terms used in the GDPR, the Personal Data Protection Act and other legal acts of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania.
  2. The following terms are used in this Privacy Policy:
    1. 8.1. Personal data – any information about a living natural person whose identity is known or can be directly or indirectly determined using such data of the Data Subject as name, surname, date of birth, personal identification number, residential address, personal identity card or passport number, bank card number, diploma and certificate data, data on assets, health data, facial image, telephone number, email address, Internet Protocol (IP) address, car number.
    2. 8.2. Processing of personal data – any action performed on the personal data of natural persons (Data Subjects): collection, recording, accumulation, storage, alteration (supplementation or correction), provision, use, destruction or any other action or set of actions.
    3. 8.3. Data subject – a living natural person whose identity has been established and whose personal data is managed and processed by Katino Dieneleės (Data Controller) for the established purposes.
    4. 8.4.Data subject consent – any freely given, specific and unambiguous indication of the will of the duly informed Data Subject, by a statement or by clear actions, given to the administration of Katinos Dienelė, by which he or she consents to Katinos Dienelė processing of personal data relating to him or her.
    5. 8.5. Data Controller – a natural or legal person, government institution, agency or other body that, under a contract, processes the Personal Data of natural persons (Data Subjects) on behalf of Katinas Dienelė.
    6. 8.6. Simonaitytės g. 10-13, Vilnius, 06244, +37067302533, e-mail: admin@katinodieneles.lt, which sets out the purposes of processing personal data, the categories of personal data and data subjects, and the means of processing personal data.
    7. 8.7. Website – The Cat Diary website is located at catdays.lt , in which the website visitor can freely give consent to the processing of personal data for the performance of the contract and other purposes.
    8. 8.7. Candidate for Cat's Day staff – a natural person participating or seeking to participate in the personnel selection conducted by Katinas Dienėla.
    9. 8.9. Cat's Diaries – is MB „Katino Dienelės mokykla“, legal entity code: 305696618, MB „Katino dienelės LT“, legal entity code: 305207358, VŠĮ „Katino dienelės”, legal entity code: 304214225, VŠĮ „Zebriukas” legal entity: 302544815, registration address, I. Simonaitytės g. 10-13, Vilnius, 06244.
    10. 8.10. Cat Day employee – a natural person who has concluded an employment contract with the Katinas Dienelė administration.
    11. 8.11. Katina Dienėle's employee responsible for processing personal data – an employee of Katinas Dienelė who, by virtue of his/her position and the nature of his/her work, has the right to perform specific functions related to the processing of personal data of natural persons (Data Subjects) on behalf of Katinas Dienelė, administrator, admin@katinodieneles.lt.
    12. 8.12. Customer – a natural or legal person who has entered into a contract with the Katinas Dienelė administration for the provision of services.

Personal data – any information about a living natural person whose identity is known or can be directly or indirectly determined using such data of the Data Subject as name, surname, date of birth, personal identification number, residential address, personal identity card or passport number, bank card number, diploma and certificate data, data on assets, health data, facial image, telephone number, e-mail address, Internet Protocol (IP) address, car number.
    14. 8.14. Direct marketing – Katinos Dienelės activities are intended to offer services, discounts to natural persons (Data Subjects) by mail, telephone, SMS or in another direct manner and/or to ask for their opinion on the services provided or offered.
    15. 8.15. Third country – a natural or legal person, government institution, agency or other body that is authorized, by direct authorization of the Director of Katina Dienėla, to process the personal data of natural persons (Data Subjects) on behalf of Katina Dienėla.

 CHAPTER III

DATA PROCESSING

  1. Katino Dieneės obtains Personal Data in the following ways:
    1. 9.1. When Data Subjects provide their Personal Data to Katino Dieneles;
    2. 9.2. When Katino Dieneleės collects Personal Data from Data Subjects when using the Katino Dieneleės Website catdays.lt When data subjects contact Katinos Dieneles regarding the services provided by telephone or e-mail, upon arrival at the premises of Katinos Dieneles in Vilnius at the following addresses: Laisvės pr. 85A, Laisvės pr. 58A, Karių kapų g. 20 (from August 2025 – Mildos g. 4, 6, 8), Lobio g. 4 or J. Juzeliūno g. 16.
    3. 9.3. When Katino Dieneleės receives Personal Data from other persons in accordance with the procedure established by legal acts and the Privacy Policy (e.g. when data of students and pupils are provided by parents, guardians, caretakers, when data is received from official registers, state or local government institutions or bodies).
    4. 9.4. Katino Dienele collects, uses and otherwise processes Personal Data in order to provide educational services to students and pupils, to familiarize parents, guardians and caretakers of students with the educational process and achievements, to enable teachers and other participants in the educational process to organize and carry out the education of students, as well as to pursue the legitimate interests of Katino Dienele or Third Parties, to fulfill the instructions or obligations of legal acts.
  2. Personal data provided by the data subject to Katino Dieneles is processed and used by Katino Dieneles. for the following purposes:
    1. 10.1. Katino Dieneleės Website collects information about visitors to the Website and other browsing information, including data about the visitor's IP address, network and location data when the visitor provides them. During registration on the Katino Dieneės Website, the Data Subject is asked to provide Personal Data and consent to collect and process the Personal Data provided by the Data Subject so that Katino Dieneės can provide Data Subjects with the news, publications and information about Katino Dieneės activities and services provided to them. Data Subjects may withdraw their consent to Katino Dieneės to process their Personal Data at any time by sending an e-mail to the address: admin@katinodieneles.lt ;
    2. 10.2. If the Client intends to conclude or has concluded an agreement for the provision of services by Katinos Dienelės, for the purposes of contract execution, administration of orders and contracts of the Data Subject, Katinos Dienelės collects and processes the Clients' name, surname, personal code or date of birth, personal identification document number, residential address, telephone number and other contact data and information that the Clients provide to Katinos Dienelės during meetings or consultations. Katinos Dienelės processes and stores this information for no longer than required by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and as long as necessary for the purposes for which this data was collected and processed;
    3. 10.3. In order for Katinos Dienelės to provide Katinos Dienelė services under the contract and to properly fulfill contractual obligations, as well as to fulfill obligations established by legal acts, Katinos Dienelės collects and processes the name, surname, date of birth, personal code, personal identification document number, residential address, telephone number, bank account number, data about transactions concluded by the Data Subject or representative with the Katinos Dienelės administration, and other data and information necessary for the performance of the contract. In order to properly provide services, Katinos Dienelės also collects and processes sensitive data of Data Subjects (pupils, students) that are necessary to provide services - information about the health status of the pupil, student, special needs. Katino Dieneleės uses the data provided by the Data Subject or its representative, collected in the course of providing Katino Dieneės services, and is processed for no longer than required by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and as long as necessary for the purposes for which this data was collected and processed;
    4. 10.4. In order for Katino Dienelės to consult Candidates for Katino Dienelė employees regarding employment in Katino Dienelės vacant positions and to assess Candidates for Katino Dienelės employees, Katino Dienelės collects and processes the name, surname, personal code or date of birth, personal identification document number, residential address, telephone number and other contact details of such persons, information about the education of Candidates for Katino Dienelės employees, and other information provided by Data Subjects to Katino Dienelės during meetings or remote consultations. Katino Dienelės processes and stores this information and the provided Personal Data for no longer than required by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and as long as necessary for the purposes for which these data were collected and processed;
    5. 10.5. In order for Katino Dienės to communicate with Data Subjects, properly fulfill contractual obligations, respond to questions and requests regarding the provision of Katino Dienės services, as well as receive feedback from Data Subjects, send important notifications regarding the provision of services, changes to the rules, this Privacy Policy or other documents, and send security alerts, Katino Dienės processes the contact details of Data Subjects and the content of received and sent messages. Data collected when providing Katino Dienės services to Data Subjects is processed as long as the Data Subjects use Katino Dienės services and is stored for no longer than required by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and as long as necessary for the purposes for which this data was collected and processed;
    6. 10.6. For the purposes of managing the indebtedness of Katino Dienele's Clients and in order to manage the indebtedness of Katino Dienele's Clients, the debtor's name, surname, personal code (or date of birth), personal identification document number, address of residence, telephone number, data on the amount of indebtedness are collected and processed. The data are processed and stored for no longer than required by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of managing indebtedness, taking into account the legitimate interest of Katino Dienele in accordance with the deadlines established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania;
  3. Cat Days are guided by these Principles of personal data processing and protection:
    1. 11.1. Katino Dienėles complies with the requirements of legal acts, including the GDPR;
    2. 11.2. Principles of legality, fairness and transparency;
    3. 11.3. Katino Dieneės collects Personal Data for clearly defined and legitimate purposes, processes it to the extent necessary to achieve a specific purpose and does not process it in a manner incompatible with those purposes, except to the extent permitted by law;
    4. 11.4. According to the principle of data minimization – Katino Dienėles processes only such and only as much Personal Data as is necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed;
    5. 11.5. Principle of accuracy – Katino dieneleņės takes all reasonable measures to ensure that Personal Data that is not accurate or complete, taking into account the purposes of their processing, is promptly corrected, supplemented, their processing is suspended or destroyed;
    6. 11.6. Principle of retention period – Data subjects' data are kept in a form that permits identification of the person for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Data are processed;
    7. 11.7. Principle of integrity and confidentiality – Katino Dieneės processes Personal data in such a way that, by applying appropriate technical or organizational measures, appropriate security of Personal data is ensured, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing of data and against accidental loss, destruction or damage;
    8. 11.8. Katino Dienėles does not provide Personal Data to third parties or disclose them, except in cases specified in this Privacy Policy or applicable legal acts;
    9. 11.9. Personal data is stored for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes set out at the time of collection, but for no longer than 10 years (except in cases where legal acts oblige Personal Data to be stored for a longer period of time).

CHAPTER VI

OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES

  1. Cat Days is committed to:
    1. 12.1. apply all technical and organizational measures ensuring data security that are appropriate to the level of risk;
    2. 12.2. process data accurately, fairly and lawfully;
    3. 12.3. data shall be stored for no longer than required for the purposes of data processing;
    4. 12.4. provide data only in accordance with the criteria for lawful processing set out in Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Act, in accordance with the concluded personal data provision contract/agreement or upon receipt of a request from the data recipient (in accordance with Article 6 of the Personal Data Protection Act). Katino Dieneleės itself responsibly decides what personal data it can provide to the institutions with which it cooperates. Katino Dieneleės may provide data to cooperating institutions in order to ensure the well-being and safety of the student, pupil at school and in society and to inform the community and the public (students' creative works, photos, footage) about the activities carried out by Katino Dieneleės;
    5. 12.5. provide data by electronic means of communication without violating the principle of confidentiality, when necessary to ensure the provision of Katinos Dienėle services;
    6. 12.6. provide data free of charge for inspection to the Data Subject, whose data is processed by Katinos Dienėles, upon his written request;
    7. 12.7. appoint only those persons who need the data to process it for the performance of their functions.
    8. 12.8. ensure that Katinos Dienelė employees authorized to work with Personal Data do not disclose them to third parties. This remains valid even if the Katinos Dienelė employee changes his/her workplace or position.
  2. The data subject undertakes to:
    1. 13.1. provide correct, accurate and complete data to Katina Dienelė;
    2. 13.2. in the event of changes to the data provided by the Data Subject, immediately inform Katino Dieneles about changes to such Personal Data.

 CHAPTER VII

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

  1. The data subject has the right to:
    1. 14.1. to familiarize yourself with your Personal Data and its processing;
    2. 14.2. to be aware of the processing of their Personal Data;
    3. 14.3. demand correction or addition of incomplete Personal Data;
    4. 14.4. to request restriction of the processing of the personal data of the subject of Personal Data on at least one of the legitimate grounds;
    5. 14.5. request the deletion of your Personal Data or the suspension of Personal Data processing activities, except for storage;
    6. 14.6. to object to the processing of the Data Subject's Personal Data, where the Personal Data is processed based on the legitimate interests of Katinos Dienėles. Katinos Dienėles may only process Personal Data despite such objection if there are justified reasons;
    7. 14.7. the right to withdraw the consent given by the Data Subject to the processing of Personal Data, without affecting the use of the Data Subject's Personal Data carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent;
    8. 14.8. the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority – the State Data Protection Inspectorate directly or by e-mail ada@ada.lt . More information and contact details can be found on the inspectorate's website (vdai.lrv.lt/). Katino Dieneleės always tries to resolve all disputes peacefully, therefore, first of all, we invite you to contact the Katino Dieneės administration.
  2. The data subject has the right at any time, by submitting a written request to the Katinas Dienelė administration in Vilnius at the following address: Vilnius at the following addresses: Laisvės pr. 85A, Laivės pr. 58A, Karių kapų g. 20 (from August 2025 – Mildos g. 4, 6, 8), Lobio g. 4 or J. Juzeliūno g. 16 or by sending a letter to the following e-mail address: admin@katinodieneles.lt to familiarize yourself with this Privacy Policy, the Personal Data processed by the Data Subject Katinos Dienelės, and to know how they are processed and for what purposes.
  3. If Personal Data is deleted at the request of the Data Subject, Katino Dieneleės has the right to store only copies of the information that are necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Katino Dieneleės and other persons, to comply with the obligations of state or local government institutions and bodies, to resolve disputes, to identify disruptions, or to comply with any agreements that Katino Dieneleės and the Data Subject have concluded.
  4. Katino Dieneleņės undertakes to provide the Data Subject with a response to the request submitted by him/her within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of receipt of the request. In exceptional cases, Katino Dieneleņės has the right to extend the deadline for the submission of Personal Data requested by the Data Subject or for examining other requirements specified in the Data Subject's request up to 60 (sixty) calendar days from the date of such application. In such case, Katino Dieneleņės shall inform the Data Subject separately in writing or by e-mail specified by the Data Subject. Accordingly, if Katino Dieneleņės decides not to satisfy the request submitted by the Data Subject, when the circumstances specified in the GDPR, the ADTAĮ and other legal acts of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania are established, Katino Dieneleņės additionally undertakes to inform the Data Subject thereof in writing or by e-mail specified by him/her and to provide a reasoned response. 

CHAPTER VIII

SECURITY AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

  1. Katino Dienelės aims to ensure the security of Personal Data in the following ways:
    1. 18.1. Takes appropriate security measures that comply with legal acts regulating data protection and data security, including establishing requirements for Third Parties engaged by Katinos Dienėla to provide Personal Data processing services to use appropriate measures to preserve the confidentiality of Personal Data and ensure the security of Personal Data and information.
    2. 18.2. Personal data provided to Katinos Dienelės is stored in printed documents and in Katinos Dienelės systems for no longer than is necessary for the purposes provided for in the service provision agreement, the legal acts of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania, and is stored to the extent that it is necessary to store the data for the purposes of performing the agreement or archiving documents in accordance with the requirements and deadlines set out in the legal acts of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania.
    3. 18.3. Longer processing and storage of the Personal Data of the Data Subject may apply in the following cases:
      1. 18.3.1. This is necessary for the implementation of the rights and protection of the interests of Katino Dienėle in the event of claims or lawsuits filed by Data Subjects;
      2. 18.3.2. There are reasonable suspicions of illegal activity by the Data Subject, which is the subject of an investigation;
      3. 18.3.3. The data of the data subjects is necessary for the proper resolution of the dispute, complaint or claim of Katinas Dienelė;
      4. 18.3.4. On other grounds provided for in the legal acts of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania.
  2. Upon the expiration of the terms for processing and storing Personal Data provided for in legal acts, if they have not been extended, the Personal Data of Data Subjects is destroyed in a way that cannot be restored.
  3. Katino Dieneleės has the right to use the following data processors to process the Personal Data specified in the Privacy Policy and provided by Data Subjects:
    1. 20.1. companies providing data centers, website administration and related services;
    2. 20.2. companies providing document archiving and destruction services;
    3. 20.3. companies that create, provide, support and develop software;
    4. 20.4. companies providing information technology infrastructure services;
    5. 20.5. companies providing communication, legal, debt administration and collection services;
    6. 20.6. companies that perform analysis of Internet browsing or Internet activity and provide services.
  4. Data Processors on behalf of Katinas Dienėla have the right to process the personal data of Data Subjects only in accordance with the instructions of Katinas Dienėla and only to the extent necessary to properly fulfill the obligations set out in the data processing agreement for Data Processors.
  5. Katino Dieneleės takes all necessary measures to ensure that the Data Processors hired under the contract have implemented appropriate organizational and technical measures to ensure the security of Personal Data.
  6. Subject to the requirements of legal acts, Personal Data of Data Subjects may be transferred to:
    1. 23.1. The Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania, Vilnius County State Tax Inspectorate, the Board of the State Social Insurance Fund, the State Enterprise Centre of Registers, the State Enterprise Regitra;
    2. 23.2. To the courts of the Republic of Lithuania, notaries, bailiffs and other law enforcement and dispute resolution institutions in the exercise of their lawful powers in accordance with their written request;
    3. 23.3. To companies operating in the Republic of Lithuania that provide Katinas Dienelė debt collection, audit, training, video surveillance and security services;
    4. 23.4. other third parties, insofar as this is related to the provision of services by Katinos Dienelė, purchases, reorganization of activities and services provided, or similar changes.
  7. The Katinos Dienelės administration does not transfer any Personal Data of Data Subjects to Third Parties, unless the Data Subject's consent to disclose Personal Data has been received, or the transfer of data is required by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union. 

CHAPTER X

FINAL PROVISIONS

  1. The law of the Republic of Lithuania applies to legal relations related to this Policy.
  2. The Katino Dieneleės Website may contain links to Third Party Websites, legal acts, as well as links to social networks, and may contain content uploaded from other websites (for example, photos, text, etc.). Third-party websites linked to on the Katino Dieneleės Website are subject to the privacy policies of these websites. Katino Dieneleės does not assume any responsibility for the privacy policies of such websites or Third Parties.
  3. All disagreements regarding the implementation of this Privacy Policy are resolved through negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, disagreements are resolved in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority - the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
  4. Katino Dieneleės has the right to partially or completely change the Privacy Policy, such changes and/or additions shall enter into force upon their publication on the Katino Dieneės Website. catdays.lt days.
